|NOTE TO AWS EMPLOYEES|
|We have created a custom template which you need to use to provision accounts for workshops. Reach out to get access to the template. Every time you conduct a workshop or an event with a customer, please ping ijaganna@ with the details (Customer Name, Date, Location and Number of participants) so we can track usage.|
If you’re currently not sitting in an AWS organized workshop event, this section doesn’t apply to you. Skip this page and go here.
The AWS Event Engine was created to help AWS field teams run Workshops, GameDays, Bootcamps, Immersion Days, and other events that require hands-on access to AWS accounts.
Open a browser and navigate to the event engine login page: https://dashboard.eventengine.run. You will be presented with terms and login page. Please read and understand the terms governing use of event engine accounts.
On your table or available from event staff will be a label with a 12 digit hash.
use the 12 digit hash to login:
Set your team name if you like. We have enough accounts for participants to each have their own account, but all participants are welcome to form teams.
Click the AWS Console link to login to the AWS account you’ll use in today’s event.
Please note the region that the event is using. Only actions in this region are allowed.
Click the ‘Open AWS Console’ button to open the AWS Console. Here there are instructions for CLI credentials, but this will not be needed as todays workshop uses the Cloud9 console and IDE as an administrative environment.
Please let the event staff know if you have any difficulty.
